Can I Ride my Electric Bike in the Rain?
Can I ride my electric bike in the rain is a common question asked by many e-bike riders. It is a mis-conception that many riders think that they may get electrocuted whilst riding. I can tell you that this is not the case. Your electric bicycle can take a certain amount of water. When you are riding your bike in the rain, make sure you keep clear of puddles, rivers, creeks or any amount of water that will submerge the electrical components under water. Like a regular car, if the electrical components get wet, then you are likely to have some problems.
There are some ways in which you can protect your electric bicycle conversion kit from the weather. In the next couple of articles I will explain some ways in which you can transfrom your kit into a much better rain-proof kit than before.
Leave a comment on ways in which you have weather proofed your electric bike.
