Every morning when you drive your way to the office in your conventional vehicle, it emits some exhaust gases to the atmosphere. As far as you are concerned, it's not a big deal. The concentration of those gases is not dangerous enough to cause pollution. But imagine several billion other vehicles, across the globe, doing same and what you end up with is "Global Warming".
And that's precisely the reason why the world is going "Green". Zero emission vehicles such as hybrid vehicles, Fuel cell vehicles are already booming in the world market. Electric bikes are another type of Zero emission vehicles.
Joy E-bikes have introduced their latest model for the year 2009. Its light weight (5.5 kg) 36 volt 16 AH Lithium batter pack will take you up to 30 miles in a single charge. Bike is designed to operate at a speed of 20 MPh and that too without pedaling. Main driving hub motor is quite and powerful. It is a 750 W brushless and gearless motor. Bike is provided with cruise speed control which will make your ride a fun. An anti-theft alarm will protect your E-bike from being stolen. Its aluminium reinforced frame is light and strong. It weights only 27 kg with battery.
Various other prototypes of E-bikes are available in the market. Though maintenance is a problem, E-bikes are affordable, environment friendly and easy to use!
